IRANIAN CORNER

May 25 - June 12, 2025

"Iranian Corner" is a reflection on the migrant experience — a life lived on the cultural, linguistic, and historical margins. Bringing together works by Iranian artists, this exhibition reveals fragments of the inner worlds of those who live within other societies, yet often remain on an invisible periphery.

Here, the “corner” is not merely a physical space but a metaphor for seclusion, contemplation, and at times, quiet resistance — a condition suspended between visibility and invisibility. In Persian, “withdrawing into a corner” carries a layered meaning that extends beyond solitude, suggesting conscious retreat and introspective depth.

This exhibition aims to give voice to that shared experience — not from the perspective of lack or absence, but from the position of a silent yet meaningful presence at the margins of the world.
