Guga Contemporary presents "In Motion", a group exhibition on view from May 3 to May 15, 2026. Bringing together works by Ahmet Kolburan, Alper Yahya, Babak Bidarian, Elmira Akarsu, Hossein Kaveh, Meysam Nejad Rasouli, Samira Darya, Özlem Berk, Parya Ghaderi, Selami Bakır, and Vahhab Ayhan, the exhibition explores the fluid nature of contemporary visual language, the fragility of representation, and the continuous transformation of meaning.
 

The works presented in the exhibition approach representation not as a fixed structure, but as a shifting field that is constantly moving, changing direction, and reconstructing itself. Here, the image no longer merely depicts; it slips, multiplies, overlaps, and continuously generates new possibilities of meaning.
 

Within this fluid landscape, the figure refuses to remain stable. Bodies fragment, multiply, and intersect with other images, giving rise to ever-changing relationships between the human, the animal, the object, and architecture. This state of transition reveals identity not as a static condition, but as a structure continuously shaped and transformed through process.
 

The surface itself becomes the carrier of this movement. Layers, interventions, and traces simultaneously construct and disrupt the image. In every work, formation and dissolution unfold together, leaving no form complete or permanently fixed.

In Motion foregrounds the dynamic, plural, and open-ended nature of contemporary art, inviting viewers not to search for a single, definitive meaning, but to experience the ongoing state of transformation itself.
