Sencer Gülün
Sencer Gülün (b. 1956, Konya, Turkey) graduated with the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Department of Advanced Graphic Arts at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (now Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University).
Working across painting, video, and sound, Gülün employs an interdisciplinary approach to explore personal experience and conceptual inquiry.
He has held numerous solo exhibitions, including 30 Seconds Over the Winterland, In Limbo, Ideas: #47A, Ideas: #50, Global Village / Alienation in the Digital Age, Red Musicians / Green Musicians, Digital Organisms, Hexagon Studies, The Space Adventures of Aviator Ali Balkı Bey and Till Death Do Us Part, 36 Flying Umbrellas (Serotonin), Painted Wooden Sculpture, and In Limbo, while also participating in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and internationally.
Gülün lives and works between Turkey and the Philippines.
